THE DATAI PLEDGE CELEBRATES FIVE YEARS OF POSITIVE IMPACT ON NATURE AND COMMUNITY WITH WEEK-LONG FESTIVAL
Set within our 10-million-year old Malaysian rainforest, The Datai Langkawi marks a meaningful milestone in April 2026 – five years of The Datai Pledge, our living commitment to nature, community and conservation.
From 13–19 April 2026, we celebrate with the inaugural Datai Pledge Festival, a week-long gathering inspired by the theme of Human/Nature. More than a concept, it reflects the deep relationship between people and the natural world – a connection that has guided The Datai Pledge since its official launch in 2020.
This anniversary is not simply a celebration, but an invitation. Guests, partners, artisans, conservationists and performers come together in a vibrant showcase of nature, culture, craft, cuisine and environmental action. Through immersive experiences across land and sea, the festival brings to life the four pillars that shape our work – Pure for the Future, Wildlife for the Future, Fish for the Future, and Youth for the Future.

Our fundraising auction in support of The Datai Pledge is available live online until 12 May 2026, inviting you to participate and make an impact with us, wherever you are.
