THE DATAI LANGKAWI IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED
Following the recent implementation of the second Movement Control Order (MCO) in all but one state, and due to the enhanced travel restrictions enforced in most states of the country, The Datai Langkawi has taken the decision to temporarily suspend operations from Tuesday, 19 January 2021.
The decision has been made out of an abundance of caution as part of the resort management’s commitment to the health and safety of guests and team members, based on the ever-rising case numbers currently seen in many states of Malaysia. Along with travel restrictions in place in most of the states hindering our guests from realising their holiday bookings with us, a temporary closure is the apt solution to protect the long-term viability of the resort.
For any existing bookings for stay dates that fall in the period of the temporary closure, the resort offers a free change of dates or cancellation without penalty and full refund, and all concerned guests will be contacted for alternative options. Please reach out to us at reservations@dataihotels.com if you have any further questions.
The ongoing situation and reopening date will be continually re-evaluated based on any further travel restrictions or movement control orders implemented by the government of Malaysia, and we hope to be able to welcome you to our rainforest paradise again soon.
