A key component of our Langkawi resort's core environmental ethos, the expansive permaculture garden is dedicated to and in tune with the systems and cycles of nature. It is home to a closed-loop food production system, including on-site worm and hot composting, greywater irrigation and the reuse of organic waste, to enable us to return organic waste to the soil. We grow ingredients for our kitchens and The Spa here, such as Lemongrass, Thai Basil, Mint, and Pandan. The Garden reflects our ongoing journey towards greater circularity and self-sufficiency, while offering a closer look at how food can be grown, used, and returned to the earth with minimal waste.
