From September 29th until beginning of December, the Datai Langkawi will be on soft opening mode and as such not all facilities will be open.

We wish to assure you that all major construction works have now been completed. At this stage, only minor finishing works are being carried out in segregated areas. The noise level is equivalent to regular maintenance work with no heavy drilling with minimal disturbance to our guests.

Celebrate The Datai Langkawi’s widely anticipated reopening with highly acclaimed father and son duo, chefs Michel and Sébastien Bras. Recognised by their peers as the best chefs in the world, their culinary domain is mainly based in France including their flagship restaurant, Le Suquet in Laguiole, which has held three Michelin stars for 19 years. Their specially devised menu will be inspired by The Datai's unique natural setting, using exotic ingredients from the garden and rainforest. Michel and Sébastien will delight their guests with an eight-course dinner, accompanied by members of their accomplished team and master sommelier, Laurent Chaniac from London.
