The Gulai House
Situated in the heart of a 10-million year old rainforest, The Gulai House enchants with the rustic atmosphere of a traditional Malay kampung house and the ever present symphony of the wildlife. The spacious restaurant is divided into various sections, providing open dining area, secluded nobats and alcoves shielded by airy organza drapes with traditional Malay low tables and cushion seats on hand-woven pandan mats for an intimate couples experience.
Celebrating indigenous customs, the graceful wait-staff dressed in Malay costumes will greet you with a traditional hand-wash ritual prior to serving authentic Malay dishes and tantalizing Indian cuisine served on banana leaves and in traditional hand-crafted ceramic bowls.
