The Datai Langkawi
The Datai Langkawi was designed by the visionary architect Kerry Hill with architect and interior designer Didier Lefort. It opened in 1993, and 25 years later, Didier Lefort led the refurbishment of the 5-star resort, designing all the rooms, suites and villas to make the most of the striking natural surroundings.

The Datai Langkawi is only a 40-minute drive from Langkawi International Airport and just a short flight from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Alia Bastamam x The Datai Langkawi
Malaysian fashion designer Alia Bastamam launched her Resort 2023 collection, aptly titled ‘Oasis’, at The Datai Langkawi in October 2022. The line includes a capsule collection that was inspired by The Datai Langkawi resort, with six elegant looks showcasing soft-flowing drapes and the designer's signature pleats.
